James is a graduate of UCC with a Masters in Business and a degree in Agricultural Science from UCD. James joined the Pharmed Group in 2015 as a Business Unit Director for Accuscience in Ireland and Neurotechnics in the UK. In 2017, James progressed to General Manager of Accuscience and Medilink Services in Northern Ireland.
James has a wealth of knowledge cultivated across a variety of sales and distribution businesses over the last 15 years. James’s experience spans across many market sectors including Clinical, MedTech, Pharmaceutical, Academic, and Government Funded Research.
He is currently responsible for the strategic direction, sales, profitability, budgeting, leadership, and development of the Accuscience and Medilink company’s across Ireland.
Niamh is a PhD graduate of Cancer Genetics from the Royal College of Surgeons, along with an MBA from DCU and an MSC in Immunology. Niamh plays a key role in the management of key strategic business relationships and projects for Accuscience. Niamh has vast experience in the Lifesciences and Clinical area spanning over nine years. Niamh manages several divisions within Accuscience and brings a wealth of knowledge to Life Sciences and Clinical Environments.
Brian has over 35 years’ experience in the medical industry across a variety of senior sales and management positions. He has worked with global brand leaders in Cardiology, Draping, Masks, Decontamination, Laparoscopic Surgery, Custom Procedure Packs, Interventional Radiology, Neuro Rehabilitation, Operating theatre systems, and Urology. Brian leads the Accuscience Medical/Surgical and Surgical Capital Divisions, along with playing a key role between our customers, suppliers, and the sales team.
Orla is a Molecular Biology PhD graduate of Trinity College Dublin. She works closely with many key accounts across a range of market sectors including: Pharma, Research, Food, Feed & Beverage. Orla brings a wealth of experience and scientific knowledge to customers and is responsible for a large portfolio of key global brands. Orla has vast experience in rolling out onsite projects, involving IQOQ, PQ, DQ and QMS systems.
Thomas is an MSc graduate of Biomedical Sciences from the University of Greenwich London and also holds a BSc (Hons) in Life Sciences from the Open University. Thomas manages the Clinical Diagnostics division within Accuscience. He has a wide range of experience including 12 years within the pharmaceutical biomarker development industry as an Operations Manager, as well as 5 years clinical diagnostics experience with the NHS within the field of genetics. Thomas has also educational experience gained through lecturing within the field of applied sciences.
Darragh joined Accuscience in 2016 as a graduate of DIT and ITT. Darragh leads the Surgical Capital Division in Accuscience bringing a wealth of knowledge across the healthcare sector, both public and privately funded. Darrach has vast experience working on different theatre and healthcare projects requiring input from all stakeholders including, Consultants, Nurse Managers, Procurement, Project Managers, Estate Managers, Hospital Executives, end-users and the construction contractors.
Mark is a MEng graduate of Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Queens University Belfast with over 18 years experience in the medical devices industry in Ireland. Mark leads our Critical Care Division and serves as the vital link between our suppliers and customers to ensure that all of our devices and systems are specified, implemented and supported to fully meet all current and future clinical requirements.
